The food was excellent we recommend all inclusive. The room was big and was having possibility for 4 beds. The room seem to be fresh renovated. The minibar was pretty big but you don't need it if you have all inclusive. All the rooms are having balcony and view to the pools/sea. It is close to sea. The pools are nice.
The location is not so good: the area is isolated so a car would be recommended and also all inclusive. There are some pipes which are going trough the room(not visible) which are having no soundproof so they can be annoying. The safe is 2.5Eu/day.They don't provide shampoo. They have less hair driers then the numbers of the room, we got one only 2 days B4 departure. The WI-FI internet connection was free but is available only in the lobby. The room is cleaned only each 2 days. The water in the pools was colder then the water of the sea; they should warm the water at least in the children pool in September. The time schedule of the meals didn't fit so much with our options. The after midnight entertainment was to noisy and it disturbed our sleep
The reception staff were excellent and has prepares food for our arrival as we arrived after midnight
The entire hotel was focused on the german guests, the signs were german the entertainment and music was german the food selection was mainly german and as is typical te german guests dominated the pool area with their towels by 7 each morning and then dissapered untill 10
Location. Views and proximity to natural surroundings.
Limited utensils for self catering. ie. no plates/bowels, adequate cutlery, no toaster, kettle despite having a cooker.
I choose this hotel despite having no reviews for its location and I was not disappointed. The studios are roomy and immaculate with large terraces and lovely sea and pool views. I went on fully inclusive and found the food very acceptable - excellent breakfast and the beach bar served snacks throughout the day. The pools were excellent particually the top one - an ideal depth for 7 year olds and quieter. The hotel is predomently German but a few English were there independantly and I travelled with my 7year old daughter on my own and was made to feel very welcome and felt very safe. The entertainment was on the whole good if a little cheesy- but it was only a ten minute stroll to the main square of Portinatx.
The desserts could be improved but their was always a selection of fresh fruit and ice-creams so I wouldn't let it put you off and feel it is good value for money - I never bought a meal out and a basic picnic was offered for excursions.
Lovely clean room, and very spacious balcony. The choice of food if all inclusive was excellent.
Felt strongly that the English were not catered for or considered. The hotel is mainly German. The Entertainers were also German, and music, even for children was German. Had to leave the hotel in eves and go to Portinax main town for entertainment which was costly.
The location was perfect and the staff were very helpful and friendly. In fact the staff were really great and that makes a holiday really perfect sometimes.
There was nothing that I really didn't like about the hotel but perhaps the food could have been a bit better and I didn't like getting plastic glasses during the day.
Location overlooking the beautiful cove was excellant but we fortunately had an apartment at the front of the hotel. May not be so good if located further back by swimming pools. The food was excellant, with plenty of choice and the restaurant was very well organised. Reception staff very helpful.
Entertainment very loud and aimed more at german market. Might have been better at the beach bar. Think more people would have used beach bar if lighting, decoration and entertainment were improved.
Honestly the staff made the stay amazing. Everyday we showed up at the front desk and the girls gave us tips for where to go and what to eat! We really got to experience Ibiza local style. Thank you!!
The location is a bit far and the hotel is definately geared towards family. This is not necessarily bad but you need to know this in advance!
It was great value for money we liked the beach bar being included in the all inclusive
Beachbar did nice burgers for lunch. Staff in resturant were nice
Air conditioning wasn't that good even though we were assured it was working, many others found the same. All entertainment was in german, couldn't understand anything. Entertainment was very poor & very unprofessional. Worst entertaient in hotel ive seen. Food was very bland, nor much choice. Room was above the entertainment was ridiculously loud until after 11am, couldn't put kids to bed until it finished. Food wasn't available enough!! Finished at 9pm.. No snacks after then!!!
The hotel appeared to be slightly dated from the initial view but once inside things changed. We arrived after the restaurant had closed but the staff made sure that there was something to eat. Food was plentiful and of good quality both in the hotel and in the beach bar. Rooms were clean and of a good size and came with a fridge and own cooking facilities if required. During our stay there was a need to evacuate the hotel due to forest fires and the diligence and organisation of the staff could not be faulted. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
We were there in early May, so hotel was steadily busy but quiet enough at night etc. Location is great if you want peace and quiet. However, if you want to see any of the island I would recommend a car as all the main town & attractions are essentially under an hour by car. Never used public transport or any other coach services so can't comment on their timetables etc. Occupancy in the hotel when we were there was mostly German and any entertainment during the day/evening was all in German. Food was plentiful be it a little bland at times. However, if we were feeding a family of four in various eateries throughout the day/evening along with drinks for a week we would have spent a fortune as not cheap at all. Another plus though, is that all beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, ice-creams and bar snacks are included if your all- inclusive.Rooms were clean, and room cleaning service came twice during the week to change bedding etc.
Food ok but a bit bland overall. Very German orientated in terms of entertainment. Rooms were clean but getting a little tired in places - for example our coffe table had seen better days and the pull out bed mattress got a bit uncomfortable after a few nights sleeping on it. Not huge issues and overall give price with food etc, a great deal.
i have just returned from a weeks stay at the apartmentos paradise beach and i have to say i was very pleasantly surprised. first impressions of the out side of the front of the building weren't great there is currently a disused room at the front and the sign could do with being re painted. this was however a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. the hotel is immaculate, even down to the man who sweeps up pine needles everyday from the pool areas and walkways. the food was adequate and plentiful. if you pay 3* prices and expect anything other than 3* food then you may be a little disappointed. that said there was plenty of variation and all of our party of somewhat fussy eaters were able to find something they liked every meal.
Nice rooms, bathrooms, very clean, spacious, nice resort, safe area, great views..
Beach bar and pool bar food was terrible..
The best aspects were that there were three child friendly beaches within easy reach, and the upper pool is great for small children.
The drink mixes could be a bit dire.
